You can ably create written ciphers. Others cannot decipher a code you create unless you teach them, they succeed on an Intelligence check (DC equal to your Intelligence score + your proficiency bonus), or they use magic to decipher it. Your spellbook, if you have one, may be written in such ciphers preventing it from being copied by anyone who you have not taught the cipher to.
As you finish a Short or Long Rest, you can put on a performance using tools with which you have proficiency and give Heroic Inspiration to allies who witness the performance. The number of allies you can affect in this way equals your Proficiency Bonus.
Whenever you roll a 20 on a D20 Test using your proficiency or expertise, you get a Heroic Inspiration.
